Profile

Edson Coelho dos Santos

I'm a Software Analyst with a degree in Computer Science and a master's in Optimization and Computational Intelligence. Over the last years I have worked on data-driven products in marketing, compliance and risk, building and maintaining backend services, ETL pipelines and integrations in Go, Python, C# and JS/TS. I enjoy designing APIs and data flows that are robust, well-documented and easy for teams to evolve.

Experiences

Senior Software Engineer

At Litroz, I work as a Senior Backend Developer, focusing on the development and maintenance of distributed microservices primarily using Go, as well as maintaining services in JavaScript/TypeScript and leveraging MongoDB, while also contributing to performance improvements in Android mobile applications using Kotlin.

  • Develop and maintain Go microservices for an intelligent fuel management platform.
  • Maintain and evolve JavaScript/TypeScript services and shared libraries.
  • Work with MongoDB for data modeling and query optimization in distributed systems.

Systems Development Analyst 2

At Neoway, a leading Latin-American company in Big Data Analytics and AI applied to business, I developed and maintained backend services and data pipelines that transformed large datasets into actionable insights for marketing, compliance, loss prevention and client integrations.

  • Developed backend services in Go and Python to deliver data products and APIs used by internal teams and external clients.
  • Built and maintained ETL scripts and pipelines for diverse data sources (Postgres, MongoDB, BigQuery, PySpark), focusing on reliability and performance.
  • Implemented and monitored integrations with CRMs and external systems such as Pipedrive, Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Configured and operated CI/CD pipelines using cronjobs, Jenkins, Airflow and Kubernetes to automate deployments and recurring jobs.
  • Collaborated with sales and marketing teams to design data solutions that improved lead generation and targeting.
  • Contributed to an international project to acquire Brazilian customers for an automotive company, aligning technical delivery with business goals.

Application Development Analyst

At Accenture, I worked as a systems analyst on several projects, including a large mining company in Brazil and analytical routing software for the transportation industry. I worked using relational (SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases, as well as several programming languages such as Java, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular and VUE.

Programmer

I worked on the maintenance of a Debian Linux server that hosted the system that provided internal control for the UFSJ Support Foundation (FAUF). Among the maintenance tasks for the system that managed the foundation, I developed it using PHP, JavaScript and a MySQL database to offer updates and support to users, as well as consultancy for the purchase of equipment and technology for projects managed by the foundation in various contexts.

Internship with scolarship

During my graduation, I had the opportunity to work at the Information Technology Center (NTINF) at UFSJ and this experience allowed me to develop my skills by working with languages such as PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, Java and to closely monitor the implementation of new systems where we mapped processes and documentation. This internship allowed me to experience the implementation of several internal processes and their respective computational modeling.

Additionals

Hands-on experience with backend development in Go, Python, C#, JS/TS and multiple database models (SQL, NoSQL, MPP).
Comfortable working across the stack: from data modeling and ETL pipelines to API design, testing and deployment.
Strong interest in DevOps practices, using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to keep systems reliable and cost-effective.
Curious by nature: I constantly learn new technologies and patterns, especially in AI, optimization and data-driven decision-making.
